37212 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Conservation: Following reply 35151 (2026), how many native birds have been recorded as suffering bird strike in wind farms in the last five years?

Hon Tama Potaka: Further to my response to written question 35151 (2026), I am advised that the Department of Conservation does not record these reports in a way that enables it to provide a response to this written question without substantive manual collation and review of individual files across a range of DOC offices, which cannot be completed in the time available for response. This is also my response to written questions 37213 (2026) and 37214 (2026).
