37210 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Revenue: What concerns, if any, did Inland Revenue raise about collecting the additional $702 million through increased compliance activities initiative in Budget 2024?

Hon Simon Watts: The only concern Inland Revenue raised was the ability to scale quickly to meet the return on investment of 8 to 1 in the first year. The return on investment agreed upon is a 4 to 1 in 2024/25 ramping up to 8 to 1 from 2025/26 onwards.
