37205 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to WPQ 7282(2024), how many of these staff will be new appointments rather than transferred from Te Whatu Ora hospitals, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand is currently recruiting for 35 approved full-time equivalent (FTE) positions, and has contingencies in place until those positions are filled. I am further advised that in total, 136 new FTE positions have been approved for the operation of Totata Haumaru.
