37181 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Health: What work, if any, is Health New Zealand currently undertaking to replace Kenepuru Hospital’s after-hours A & M clinic with a virtual service?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised Health New Zealand is exploring options for how best to continue delivering overnight healthcare and advice for the communities that use Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic. This involves utilising all avenues open to Health NZ to fill overnight roster shifts where it can, and exploring the feasibility of a virtual service component.
