37179 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2024 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that as at 30 June 2024, the Ministry for the Environment had 969 staff, with 484 union members. As at the 30 June 2024, the Environmental Protection Authority had 244 staff, with 68 union members.
