37178 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2023 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that as at 30 June 2023, the Ministry for the Environment had 1045 staff, with 469 union members. As at the 30 June 2023, the Environmental Protection Authority had 234 staff, with 74 union members.
