Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2022 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises that the total headcount of permanent and fixed term staff as at 30 June 2022 (which is the closest reporting date to 1 July 2022) was: 2,564 with 1,576 identified as union members.
