Hon Paul Goldsmith: This was a 50-50 split between the Ministry of Defence and participating companies for putting on this event. This was to cover the costs associated with staging this event. As the event was cancelled, participating companies were not required to cover these costs. New Zealand companies were responsible for their own travel and at their own cost.
