37110 (2026). Hon Damien O'Connor to the Minister of Defence: Did the Minister consult or inform the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, or any other Minister before deciding that he would not attend a planned trilateral defence ministers' meeting with Australia and Japan in Canberra, Australia, in August 2026; if so, whom did he consult or inform, and on what date?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Not directly, as it was my decision to make.
