37100 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: Which collective bargaining processes in 2025 will the public service commissioner delegate responsibilities for, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that the Public Service Commissioner has delegated responsibility for collective bargaining in all Public Service departments. A copy of the current letter of delegation is available on the Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission website at the following link: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/system/public-service-people/employment-relations The Public Service Commissioner has also delegated his responsibility for collective bargaining in the education sector for those collective agreements that cover school support staff and kindergarten teachers.
