37074 (2025). Lan Pham to the Minister for Resources: Further to Reply 34914, is the primary intention of the $200m set aside Budget 2025 to make commercial return on the investment, as per a normal commercial investment?

Hon Shane Jones: I refer the Member to my response to questions 37006 and 37007. The New Zealand Government’s priority is to support New Zealand’s energy security as we transition to lower emission alternatives. The funds are designed to do this through commercial investment.
