37032 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What are the immediate steps, if any, that the Ministry of Education has asked Gloriavale Christian School to take to meet all of its registration criteria?

Hon Erica Stanford: Gloriavale Christian School has been asked to provide an updated Action Plan to the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) by 13 August 2025, outlining the actions it has completed to address unmet registration criteria as a private school, along with clear time frames for the completion of future actions. A meeting is scheduled for 20 August, at which Gloriavale Christian School is expected to provide evidence of the completed actions to the Ministry. If Gloriavale Christian School is unable to present a viable plan of how it will achieve compliance with the remaining registration criteria by 13 August, and some evidence of actions taken by 20 August, then the Ministry will consider suspending their registration as a private school.
