37008 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: was the funding used for the $15 million Low Emission Transport Fund public EV charging urban infill programme first announced prior to January 2024; and if so, what initiative and when was it first announced?

Hon Simeon Brown: RFPs opened on 30 April 2024 for the $15 million urban infill round is funded from the “Public Electric Vehicle Charging Hubs and Infrastructure 2023-2028” appropriation. I am advised that applications to this fund have been received and are currently being assessed.
