36992 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: Does the labelling, if there is any, provide a list of preservatives in the school lunches?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that all suppliers for the school lunches programme meet the Ministry of Primary Industries’ labelling requirements, which can be found at: https://www.mpi.govt.nz/food-business/labelling-composition-food-drinks/. Ingredients and preservatives are displayed as required by this legislation. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 36993, 36995, 36996 and 36997 (2025).
