36976 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many hours of training did 155 WorkSafe inspectors receive to help them spot road cone over-compliance and who provided that training?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand contracted Parallaxx Limited to provide inspectors with training and foundational knowledge on temporary traffic management. Inspectors have completed an initial online self-paced module, and measurement is based on completion. As such, number of hours is not a measure that is centrally collated or reported.
