36957 (2026). Hon Damien O'Connor to the Minister of Defence: Was a trilateral defence ministers' meeting between New Zealand, Australia, and Japan planned or proposed for August 2026; if so, will it proceed as planned; if it will not, what assessment, if any, has been made of the effect on New Zealand's defence relationships with Australia and Japan, including on New Zealand's evaluation of the Mogami-class frigate as part of naval fleet renewal?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The member is referred to the response to question 36956 (2026).
