Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 28 July 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises that one consultation process regarding roles related to providing administrative support to Conservation Boards in the Lower North Island has commenced the week beginning 28 July 2025. The process impacts two staff and the net change in roles is a reduction of 0.5 FTE.
