36704 (2025). Celia Wade-Brown to the Minister of Conservation: What proportion of Predator Free 2050 strategy review submitters, if any, are supportive of adding feral cats to the list of potential target species for Predator Free 2050?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation has received over 3,300 submissions on the Predator Free 2050 strategy review discussion document. The Department is currently analysing the submissions and will use the insights to inform the strategy development process. A summary of what was heard during consultation will be released alongside the revised strategy in early 2026.
