Hon Nicola Willis: The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) initiated a Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a long-term All-of-Government (AoG) collective gas supply arrangement, aimed at meeting the ongoing needs of participating government agencies. The procurement process is now in its final negotiation phase, so I cannot yet comment on the commercial aspects of a new agreement. Officials are working to formalise a solution that ensures continuity of reticulated natural gas supply and delivers price certainty throughout the contract. Once the sourcing and negotiation process is final, participating government agencies will transition to the new commercial and contractual frameworks.
