36676 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service: What review process, if any, has been put in place to monitor the effects of disestablishing the Public Service Commission’s Integrity and Ethics Advisory Board?
Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that no review process has been put in place to monitor the effect of deciding not to extend the term of the Advisory Board. The advice to the Public Service Commissioner noted that there are less formal and more efficient and effective ways for the Commission to draw on the expertise of the board members as well as other subject matter experts. For example, by consulting with integrity experts on specific projects. This recently occurred on the Public Service Commission’s long-term insights briefing on the Future of Public Service Integrity.
