36518 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister for the Environment: Is the Minister aware of the "Risk maps of nitrate in groundwater" published by Environment Canterbury, which show large areas of Canterbury as having a "moderate" or "high" risk of "nitrate concentrations exceeding the MAV [maximum acceptable value for drinking water] in shallow groundwater"?

Hon Nicola Grigg: I am aware of the maps, which I understand were published by Environment Canterbury in 2022.
