36316 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: What new policy initiatives, if any, is the Minister considering for building and construction firms to address rising cost challenges?

Hon Simon Watts: I intend to continue advancing the government's ambitious agenda, which includes restoring the economy to a stable footing and supporting the construction industry. That will ultimately benefit the whole industry by increasing opportunities, reducing compliance costs and making it easier to grow.
