36260 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, Kainga Ora resource consents related to delayed projects and developments have expired this year to date?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it does not centrally record resource consents. A manual review of each project file would be required to access such information. For the financial year to date, 72 construction redevelopment projects have been identified as delayed that were initially included in the FY25 pipeline forecast. Of the 72 projects, 15 projects are currently under construction and the remaining 57 are all scheduled to be delivered within 2 years.
