36228 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Was there an incident at Korowai Manaaki whereby young people lined up on two sides and a young person walked through the two lines while he was hit; if so, when, if at all, was the Oranga Tamariki Chief Advisor made aware of it?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the Chief Advisor Youth Justice Services and Residential Care was made aware of an alleged incident as described by the Member on 17 July 2026.
