36213 (2025). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Has the speed limit on State Highway 1 from Ohau to Pukehou Overbridge been reversed from 80kph to 100 kph and if so on what date was the latest change to speed limit and signage made?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the speed limit on this stretch of road, outside of Manakau, was changed from 80 km/h to 100 km/h on 9 June 2025. The signage was changed on the night of 8 June 2025 for unveiling on the morning of 9 June 2025. The speed limit at Manakau remains at 80 km/h.
