36176 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: Does the new school lunch tender allow for non-compliant proposals due to an identified risk that suppliers may be unable to afford to produce lunches for $3 or less?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that non-conforming bids may be considered, when there are coverage gaps. The Ministry is not obligated to evaluate or consider non-conforming proposals.
