35834 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: How many regions, if any, produced a single agreed Head Start proposal covering the whole region by 9 August 2026, and does he consider the process to have succeeded in those regions that did not?

Hon Simon Watts: The Government is currently considering these proposals. I do not intend to provide any additional information beyond what is said in the press release. https://www.beehive.govt.nz/release/government-consider-headstart-proposals
