35831 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2020, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Transport advertised 34 vacancies between January and June 2020 and that the Ministry of Transport received 1520 applications between January and June 2020. I am also advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi that it does not have historical recruitment data available for the 2020 year.
