Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Local Government: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2021, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Simon Watts: The Water Services Authority – Taumata Arowai was established as a Crown entity on 1 March 2021. The Department of Internal Affairs managed recruitment prior to establishment. The number of vacancies advertised from March to June 2021 was 31, with a total of 480 applications received for those vacancies.
