35731 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2022, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Transport advertised 53 vacancies between January and June 2022 and that the Ministry of Transport received 646 applications between January and June 2022. I am also advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi that from January to June 2022, it advertised 574 vacancies and received 6,829 total applications.
