35689 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2024, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Transport advertised 34 vacancies between January and June 2024 and that the Ministry of Transport received 1263 applications between January and June 2024. I am also advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi that from January to June 2024, it advertised 381 vacancies and received 7,586 total applications.
