Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Which of the "additive investment packages" and "sequencing options", if any, does the Minister intend to pursue from the report dated 8 May 2026 and titled "Detailed Economic Analysis, The Value of Investing in Digital Systems and Environmental Data for Resource Management Reform"?

Hon Chris Bishop: The detailed economic analysis by Allen + Clarke was produced to support the former Ministry of the Environment in developing Budget 26. Further work on this proposed investment is underway by the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport and is subject to a Detailed Business Case before Cabinet takes decisions on any preferred investment package.
