Hon Damien O'Connor to the Minister of Defence: Was the King Air aircraft used to transport the Prime Minister from Whanganui to Auckland on 23 July 2026 scheduled to do training flights, other flights or tasks on that day or the following day prior to the plane being reserved for the Prime Minister’s flight and if so, what flights or tasks, if any, were postponed or cancelled due to the Prime Minister’s flight?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: No. The pilot training flight scheduled for the same aircraft on 24 July 2026 was not impacted and that task was completed as planned.
