35627 (2026). Hon Damien O'Connor to the Minister of Defence: What is the annual budget for maintaining and operating the Defence Force King Air aircraft and what costs are paid out of that budget?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The annual budget for operating and maintaining the C-12 King Air 350 aircraft is approximately $18M. This does not include fuel, airways charges, or personnel costs. There is no additional cost to the Crown for VIP taskings as they are delivered within baselines for Output 4.4 Military Assistance to Civil Authorities in Non-Emergency Situations.
