35598 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2021, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that, due to a change in systems, identifying this information would require an extensive manual search and therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is unable to provide the information requested within the written parliamentary question timeframe. Between January to June 2021, the Asia New Zealand Foundation advertised two vacancies and received 90 applicants. Between January to June 2021, Antarctica New Zealand advertised 30 vacancies and received 1199 applicants.
