Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2025, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand (including Tourism New Zealand's subsidiary company Qualmark) advertised 17 vacancies from January to June 2025 and received 1430 applications.
