35445 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2024, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024 there were 676 job advertisements listed by Corrections. I am further advised that a single job advertisement may promote multiple vacancies for a similar role, for example frontline Corrections Officer positions. I am further advised that 60,925 applications were received for these vacancies.
