35443 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many vacancies, if any, were advertised by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, from January to June 2025, and how many total applicants, if any, were received for those vacancies?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade advertised 114 vacancies and received 3243 applicants between January to June 2025. Between January to June 2025, the Asia New Zealand Foundation advertised two vacancies and received 71 applicants. Between January to June 2025, Antarctica New Zealand advertised 35 vacancies and received 1141 applicants.
