Rt Hon Winston Peters: The New Zealand Mission in Geneva discussed this matter with the Office of the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights on Tuesday 28 July and informed the Office that New Zealand’s abstention related to process and was not a reflection on the merits of the candidate.
