35410 (2026). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Does he stand by his statement to media at Parliament on 29 July 2026, referring to a member of Parliament who had heckled him during the general debate that day, that the member “can’t even speak the language properly”?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The comment you refer to was made as Leader of New Zealand First and not the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
