35360 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Prime Minister: Was he advised that there were still reasonable grounds as set out in section 22 of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002 for the American Proud Boys to be designated as a terrorist entity, if so, on what date?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I am advised that the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet is preparing for proactive release documents relating to the designation of The American Proud Boys that expired under section 29B of the Terrorism Suppression Act on 19 June 2025. The proactive release will be available on the Department’s website: Publications | Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).
