Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I was informed of the decision to pause core sector support funding to the Cook Islands on 6 June 2025. While that decision was not something the New Zealand Government sought proactively to publicise, I was made aware on 19 June 2025 that it had been the subject of discussion in the Cook Islands Parliament the previous day.
