35326 (2026). Vanushi Walters to the Prime Minister: Were the arrangements for advising the Prime Minister of formal representations by foreign missions followed in respect of the representations lodged by the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on 30 July 2026; if not, why not?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: My office was advised on 30 July 2026 that representations had been made by the Chinese Embassy. I was not informed.
