35210 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Further to Reply 33665 (2026), has the Minister received any advice or information, from any source, that would suggest allegations of sexual assault in Ward 10A experienced by patients or staff, if at all?

Hon Matt Doocey: My office received an email from Health New Zealand regarding an alleged assault in Wakari Hospital Ward 10A on 17 April 2026. Health NZ advises me it is investigating the matter through its complaints process and that Police have also received the complaint.
