35153 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Conservation: What is the plan for the use of the Bittern Management Fund, provided by Mercury in relation to the Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm, that is reported in the Northern Advocate as being available to the Department of Conservation?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by the Department of Conservation that the Bittern Management Fund provides investment for initiatives and programmes by the Department or Iwi within the Kauri Coast district and Northland, that promote the protection or enhancement of bittern.
