35148 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Conservation: How many Department of Conservation staff, if any, hold responsibilities in relation to monitoring of bittern in and around the Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm project area?

Hon Tama Potaka: I have been advised by the Department of Conservation that no Department staff are involved in the monitoring of bittern in the Kaiwaikawe wind farm project site. I understand this is the responsibility of Mercury as part of their resource consent conditions.
