35089 (2025). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: What analysis, if any, has been undertaken on the costs and/or benefits to councils of the proposed change requiring them to stop plan changes?

Hon Chris Bishop: My officials are working on impact analysis for the plan stop proposal as part of the impact analysis package for the legislation that will replace the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA). This impact analysis will be made available to the public later in the year, when RMA replacement legislation is introduced.
