35045 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, students have completed training under the School Onsite Training programme in each year since it began and how many, if any, of those people are still in a teaching role?

Hon Erica Stanford: The number of students who have completed training under the School Onsite Training Programme (SOTP) are listed below: • 2023 (pilot programme): 88 graduates • 2024: 135 graduates • 2025: 212 graduates. I am advised by the Ministry of Education that data on student completions and how many graduate teachers remain on the teacher payroll is not stored centrally, and analysis of this has not been able to be undertaken in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions.
