35034 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: Is Health New Zealand using council-derived population projections, in undertaking its clinical services planning for Otago Central Lakes health facilities; how can we be sure the data is fit for purpose?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand uses a range of data sources when planning for health services, including projections from councils and Stats NZ.
