34983 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: Will the Associate Minister hold the School Lunch Collective, lead by Compass, accountable for any compliance violations that may arise from its lack of disclosure regarding school lunches containing offal; if so, how?

Hon David Seymour: The new mince trim/heart blend is routinely used across the food industry. There is no compliance violation and students are not at risk from the use of the mince trim/heart blend. The ingredients for the mince meal were updated on the School Lunch Collective website well before the meals made their way into circulation.
